Silver Shadow has a 24-hour Internet Cafe with several computers. There is also a WiFi network that can be accessed from several hot spots and your suite. Silver Shadow entered service in 2000 as the third ship in Silversea's fleet. The ship is 601 feet in length and has seven passenger decks. With a capacity of just 328, Silver Shadow has approximately 1.1 passengers per crew member.
Silversea Cruises is a small luxury cruise line that has been in operation since the mid-1990s. Silversea has a fleet of six high-end cruise ships: Silver Cloud, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper, Silver Wind, Silver Spirit and Prince Albert II, an expedition ship. Silversea Cruises is a perennial award winner for outstanding service.
Silver Shadow cruises all over the world in 2011. Silver Shadow offers exciting Alaska cruises giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy some of the world's beautiful scenery, including the Inside Passage and Sawyer Glacier.
Silversea Cruises offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions. They have a good website with detailed descriptions that are searchable by Port and Region. Silver Shadow has a number of excellent bars & lounges onboard. Note that beverages are included with your cruise fare. Whether you are looking for a quiet drink or a place to meet up with friends, Silver Shadow won't disappoint. Here are your choices:
Silver Shadow has live entertainment each evening in the Venetian Show Lounge. If you have been onboard, drop us a line and tell us about the variety and quality of shows that you experienced. Silver Shadow also shows films on deck.
Silver Shadow's Casino is open while the ship is "At Sea." In addition to Slot Machines, you will find popular table games, including Black Jack and Roulette. Just a reminder, you must be 21 years of age to enter the casino.
Silver Shadow has wonderful outdoor decks for you to enjoy on warm days at sea. There is a pool and several spa tubs located mid-ship on Deck 8. There are plenty of lounge chairs and the deck does not feel over crowded. Drop us a line and tell us more about the Pool & Sun Decks

Silver Shadow has a gym located on Deck 10. You can exercise on treadmills and stationary bikes. There are also weight training machines and free-weights available. They offer a number of classes, including pilates and yoga.
