From the start the porters checking in our luggage at the Bayonne port were very rude and threw the luggage about like garbage. The balcony stateroom that we had was filthy with stains on the loveseat and worst there was a stain on the sheets that appeared to be pee stains. The stateroom next to ours which my mother in law was in had sand and trash on the balcony from the prior guests. Buffets were better than the sit down dinners. The food in the dining room was not great but ok when it came out hot which it never did. Most of the staff were very accommodating but there were more than a handful that need training in customer service. Other issues we had regarding making certain accommodations for my son his wife and their child were not met, and mind you they were not requests that were out line. My final remark, people always say that Carnival is bottom of the barrel compared to Royal, we have gone with Carnival 6 times and this was the 2nd with Royal. Never again on Royal Caribbean. |
