Oceania Cruises was founded in 2002 and describes itself as being the world's only upper premium cruise line. The company has three cruise ships in service worldwide with two new vessels scheduled to be delivered by mid-2011. Oceania Cruises, which has won numerous awards for quality and service from leading travel publications, is well known for its excellent cuisine and interesting itineraries.
Oceania Cruises' Regatta entered service in 2003. The ship is 594 feet in length and has nine passenger decks. With a capacity of 684, Regatta has approximately 1.7 passengers per crew member. Onboard the ship, you will experience personalized service and attention to detail in a relaxed & sophisticated atmosphere.
Oceania Regatta starts and ends the year sailing in the warm waters of the Caribbean. After a 14-night Transatlantic crossing in March, Oceania Regatta sails the Mediterranean and Northern Europe until November.
Oceania Cruises offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables you to search by Destination and City. Shore Excursions are classified by Activity Level (light, moderate & strenuous) and other helpful information, including duration and if a meal is included. Oceania Regatta's main entertainment venue is the Ship Lounge located on Deck 5. Each evening, passengers can enjoy excellent entertainment in a comfortable
environment. A variety of performances, including musicians, singers and comedians will be scheduled throughout your cruise.
Oceania Regatta's Casino on Deck 5 is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find Slot Machines and popular table games, including Black Jack, Poker and Roulette. The helpful Casino Staff in available to answer any questions regarding the games onboard.
Oceania Cruises' Regatta has a pool and two adjacent spa tubs located on Deck 9. The pool is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and several umbrellas. There is an an outdoor jogging track on Deck 10. For those seeking a truly unique experience, Deck 11 has eight private cabanas that can be rented for the day.
