MSC Poesia entered service in 2008. The ship is 964 feet in length, has thirteen passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity over 2500, the ship has roughly 2.6 passengers per crew member. MSC Poesia has elegant Italian decor throughout the ship.

MSC Poesia spends the Winter months cruising the Caribbean from Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale), FL. The ship heads to European waters for several months in the Summer with departures from Kiel, Germany. MSC Poesia also offers several Canada & New England cruises out of New York City in the Fall.

MSC Poesia offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Port. Excursions are segmented by level of difficulty: Easy, Moderate and Difficult. MSC's website provides information on shore excursions, but it need to be improved especially for Caribbean cruises.
