Holland America's ms Volendam offers a wide variety of dining options onboard. From casual to elegant, we have been told that the cuisine on Holland America is very good. Holland America recently introduced "As You Wish" dining allowing passengers a flexible dining schedule. If you prefer the traditional set times and seating assignments that option is also available.

- Lido Restaurant: buffet dining for breakfast and lunch; casual dinner atmosphere
- Terrace Grill: day time casual dining on the Lido Deck
- Rotterdam Main Dining Room: meals served in a classic atmosphere
- Pinnacle Grill: specialty restaurant, costs an additional $20 per passenger for dinner. Well worth the extra cost for this Five-Star dining experience.

ms Volendam's main entertainment venue is the Frans Hals Show Lounge located on the Promenade Deck. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Frans Hals Show Lounge is well styled with comfortable seats.

Holland America's ms Volendam features a Casino on the Upper Promenade Deck that is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Craps, Slot Machines, Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Video Poker.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Holland America Line has a long history dating back to its founding in the late 1800s. Holland America is now based in Seattle and owned by the Carnival Corporation. They have 14 cruise ships in service worldwide and are well known for their Alaska cruises.
Holland America's ms Volendam offers some of the cruise line's most interesting itineraries. Volendam spends several months at the beginning and end of the year in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Summers are spent in Alaska.

Holland America's ms Volendam offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination and Port. Excursions can be reserved online up to five days before your cruise, anytime by phone or onboard the ship.
Holland America's ms Volendam has over 700 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.
