 Holland America Line allows guests who are legal drinking age to bring wine and champagne onboard at the beginning of the cruise. If you bring your own wine or champagne to dinner, a corkage fee of $15/bottle will be applied to your onboard account.
Guests are not permitted to bring any other alcoholic beverages onboard the Oosterdam. Alcohol purchased in the ship's duty free or in port will be held until the end of your cruise. A reminder, the legal drinking age onboard the ship is 21 years of age.

 Holland America's ms Oosterdam offers a wide variety of dining options onboard. From casual to elegant, we have been told that the cuisine on Holland America is very good. Holland America recently introduced "As You Wish" dining allowing passengers a flexible dining schedule. If you prefer the traditional set times and seating assignments that option is also available.
Oosterdam Restaurants:
- Lido Restaurant: buffet dining for breakfast and lunch; casual dinner atmosphere
- Terrace Grill: day time casual dining on the Lido Deck
- Vista Main Dining Room: meals served in a classic atmosphere
- Pinnacle Grill: specialty restaurant, costs an additional $20 per passenger for dinner. Well worth the extra cost for this Five-Star dining experience.
