Holland America recently introduced "As You Wish" dining allowing passengers a flexible dining schedule. If you prefer the traditional set times and seating assignments that option is also available.

Holland America's Amsterdam features a Casino on the Upper Promenade Deck that is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Craps, Slot Machines, Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Video Poker.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Holland America Line has a long history dating back to its founding in the late 1800s. Holland America is now based in Seattle and owned by the Carnival Corporation. They have 14 cruise ships in service worldwide and are well known for their Alaska cruises.
Holland America Amsterdam cruises to Alaska during the Summer months. ms Amsterdam's Alaska itineraries depart from Seattle, WA. Panama Canal crossings depart from Long Beach (Los Angeles), CA and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Holland America's Amsterdam offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination and Port. Excursions can be reserved online up to five days before your cruise, anytime by phone or onboard the ship.
Holland America's Amsterdam has almost 700 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Holland America Line allows guests who are legal drinking age to bring wine and champagne onboard at the beginning of the cruise. If you bring your own wine or champagne to dinner, a corkage fee of $15/bottle will be applied to your onboard account.
Holland America's Amsterdam has three pools onboard. The kids pool is located on the Sky Deck. The Lido Deck Pool is located mid-ship with its sliding glass roof, 2 spa tubs and bar. The more quiet Sea View Pool is at the rear of the Lido Deck. You will find abundant wooden lounge chairs, towels and crew members willing to serve you.
