Holland America recently introduced "As You Wish" dining allowing passengers a flexible dining schedule. If you prefer the traditional set times and seating assignments that option is also available.

Holland America's ms Veendam features a Casino on the Upper Promenade Deck that is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Craps, Slot Machines, Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Video Poker.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Holland America's ms Veendam entered service in 1996. The ship is 720 feet in length, has ten passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity of 1258, the ship has roughly 2.3 passengers per crew member.
Holland America ms Veendam cruises to Bermuda and South America. ms Veendam has some excellent South American itineraries that depart from New York City; Fort Lauderdale; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio De Janeiro, Brazil; and Valparaiso, (Santiago) Chile.
Holland America's ms Veendam offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination and Port. Excursions can be reserved online up to five days before your cruise, anytime by phone or onboard the ship.
Holland America's ms Veendam has over 600 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.
