ms Prinsendam's main entertainment venue is the Queen's Show Lounge located on the Promenade Deck. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Queen's Show Lounge is well styled with comfortable seats.

Holland America's ms Prinsendam features a Casino on the Promenade Deck that is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Craps, Slot Machines, Texas Hold'em, Three Card Poker and Video Poker.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Holland America ms Prinsendam entered service in 2002. The ship is 669 feet in length, has nine passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity of just 793, the ship has roughly 1.8 passengers per crew member. From 1988 - 2002, the ship sailed as the Royal Viking Sun and Seabourn Sun.
Holland America Line has a long history dating back to its founding in the late 1800s. Holland America is now based in Seattle and owned by the Carnival Corporation. Holland America has 15 cruise ships in service worldwide and is well known for their Alaska cruises. The cruise line maintains many classic touches, including dark paneled walls and fine art work. Holland America has historically attracted an older audience, but it's common to find families onboard. Many passengers prefer Holland America over its competitors due to lower guest per square foot ratios.
ms Prinsendam cruises to Europe and the Mediterranean during Summer months and returns to the Caribbean and South America for the late Fall and Winter. European cruises depart from Amsterdam, Civitavecchia (Rome), Tilbury (London), and Piraeus (Athens).
Holland America ms Prinsendam offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination and Port. Excursions can be reserved online up to five days before your cruise, anytime by phone or onboard the ship.
