Our first cruise, ever, on any line. Mom & Dad celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. The Eurodam experience was luxurious, relaxing, exhilarating. The staff was interactive, friendly, and was always going out of their way to help with anything we needed - from directions, to "how to" onboard, to service with a smile. The officers were interacting with us and very informative about Cruises, Ships, and basic information about our ship and the whole process of treating 2,100 people to an experience of a lifetime. We loved it so much, we were impressed so well, that we have our second cruise booked for this November 2011 with HAL. The phone at HAL always answers and the person on the other line is always friendly, always understanding of my simple "new to cruising" questions, and will provide extra information to me if it is relevant to my question(s). They have gone out of their way to help and make my anxiety about traveling abroad and cruising in general, "a breeze". We are not "rich" per say, yet we were treated as if we deserved the kings' favors. I am too old and too tight with my cash to look around and try other cruise lines. I stick with what I know, and so far I have not found ANY reason to look anywhere else for our 2012 cruise. I'm addicted! Thank you HAL, for making it easy for this "ol' guy". :D |
