Costa Serena's main entertainment venue is the three-story Geove Theater. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Geove Theater is well styled with comfortable seats.

Costa Serena's Giano Casino is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Slot Machines and Three Card Poker. Like most cruise lines, Costa offers a casino loyalty program.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Costa Cruises has 12 ships in service worldwide. The company has a rich history and was formerly known as Linea C. Based in Italy, Costa Cruises is now owned by the Carnival Corporation.
They offer diverse itineraries that literally touch every cover the globe.
Costa Serena entered service in 2007. The ship is 950 feet in length, has 14 passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity of 3700, the ship has roughly 3.3 passengers per crew member. The ship has many new amenities.
Costa Serena cruises throughout the Mediterranean in 2011. The popular 7-Night Western Mediterranean cruise departs from from Barcelona, Spain with port stops in Marseille, France; Savona, Italy; Naples, Italy; Catania, Sicily; and Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands.
Costa Serena offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions based three levels of entertainment: Easy, Moderate and Hard. Shore excursions can be reserved via Costa Cruise's website three days after travelers have paid a deposit.
Costa Serena has almost 1500 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Outside, Verandah or Suite. In addition, Costa Serena has the Samsara Cabins, which offer upgraded amenities and privileges. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Costa Cruises does not allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages (wine, spirits, beer, etc.) onboard the ship. Alcohol purchased in the ship's duty free or in port will be held until the end of your cruise. A reminder, the legal drinking age onboard the ship is 21 years of age for cruises departing from U.S. ports and 18 years of age for cruises departing non U.S. ports.
Costa Serena has four pools (including two with retractable roofs) and five spa tubs onboard. Costa Serena's sun decks are more spacious than other ships in Costa's fleet and they feature good quality lounge chairs.
