Costa Romantica's main entertainment venue is the two-story L'Opera Theater. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. If you have been onboard, send us a photo of the L'Opera Theater.

Costa Romantica's Excelsior Casino is is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular games, including Black Jack, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Slot Machines and Three Card Poker. Like most cruise lines, Costa offers a casino loyalty program.
Typically, there will be Slot tournaments while you are onboard. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.

Costa Cruises has 12 ships in service worldwide. The company has a rich history and was formerly known as Linea C. Based in Italy, Costa Cruises is now owned by the Carnival Corporation.
They offer diverse itineraries that literally touch every cover the globe.
Costa Romantica entered service in 1993 and was renovated extensively in 2003. The ship is 722 feet in length, has 11 passenger decks and an impressive atrium. With a capacity of 1344, the ship has roughly 2.3 passengers per crew member.
Costa Romantica cruises throughout Asia and the Mediterranean in 2011. The popular 7-Night Turkey & Greece cruise departs from Civitavecchia with stops in Messina, Sicily; Izmir, Turkey; Mykonos, Greece; Santorini, Greece; and Piraeus, Greece.
Costa Romantica offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions based three levels of entertainment: Easy, Moderate and Hard. Shore excursions can be reserved via Costa Cruise's website three days after travelers have paid a deposit.
Costa Romantica has 678 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Outside or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Costa Cruises does not allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages (wine, spirits, beer, etc.) onboard the ship. Alcohol purchased in the ship's duty free or in port will be held until the end of your cruise. A reminder, the legal drinking age onboard the ship is 21 years of age for cruises departing from U.S. ports and 18 years of age for cruises departing non U.S. ports.
Costa Romantica has two pools onboard. You will also find four spa tubs onboard. Costa Romantica's sun decks can become quite crowded, especially when the ship is "At Sea." The decks are not as wide open as some of the newer cruise ships. Lounge chairs are good quality, though they are arranged tightly on the deck.
