Norwegian Cruise Line offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination (Caribbean, Alaska, etc.) and specific Port. Shore Excursions are segmented by Activity Level (1-3), Duration and Price. Passengers tell us they like the Shore Excursions portion of NCL's website for the following reasons:
- User-friendly site & pages load quickly
- You can browse shore excursions without having an NCL booking
- Price is displayed prominently
- You can print a PDF document listing all of the details

Norwegian Spirit has just under 1000 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Norwegian Cruise Line does not allow passengers to bring alcoholic beverages onboard the ship. We hear from past travelers that it's not even worth trying to bring your own onboard. Alcohol purchased in Norwegian Spirit's duty free or in port will also be held until the end of your trip.
A reminder, the legal drinking age onboard Norwegian Spirit is 21 years of age.
Norwegian Spirit offers a wide variety of dining options onboard. From casual to elegant, we have been told that the cuisine on NCL is very good. Freestyle Cruising allows passengers to dine whenever and with whomever they want.
Norwegian Spirit features numerous bars & lounges. Whether you are looking for a quiet drink or a place to meet up with friends for the evening, the choices are extensive. Here are some of the most popular spots onboard the ship:
Norwegian Spirit's main entertainment venue is the Stardust Theater. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Stardust Theater can accommodate approximately 900 guests.
Maharajah's Casino is open while the ship is "At Sea." You will find popular table games, including Black Jack, Craps, Let It Ride, Poker and Roulette. You will also find lots of Slot Machines and Video Poker. Just a reminder, you must be 18 years of age to enter the casino.
Norwegian Spirit has several pools and spa tubs onboard. Deck 12 is home to the Tivoli Pool and four spa tubs. Buccaneer's Wet & Wild Kid's Pool is located on Deck 10.
