Norwegian Cruise Line offers passengers a diverse menu of shore excursions through its website, which enables passengers to search by Destination (Caribbean, Alaska, etc.) and specific Port. Shore Excursions are segmented by Activity Level (1-3), Duration and Price. Passengers tell us they like the Shore Excursions portion of NCL's website for the following reasons:
- User-friendly site & pages load quickly
- You can browse shore excursions without having an NCL booking
- Price is displayed prominently
- You can print a PDF document listing all of the details

NCL's Pride of America has over 1100 cabins onboard. You can choose from an Inside, Ocean View, Balcony or Suite. When selecting a cabin, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your cabin. Everyone's tastes are different, but it's best not to be surprised when you get onboard.

Norwegian Cruise Line does not allow passengers to bring alcoholic beverages onboard the ship. We hear from past travelers that it's not even worth trying to bring your own onboard. Alcohol purchased in Pride of America's duty free or in port will also be held until the end of your trip.

Pride of America's main entertainment venue is the Hollywood Theater. Typically, there are two seatings for the theatrical, musical or comedic productions each evening. The Hollywood Theater can accommodate approximately 900 guests.
NCL's Pride of America does NOT have a casino onboard.
Some passengers are surprised to learn that such a large cruise ship does not have a casino. We understand this is because the ship sails U.S. territorial waters around the Hawaiian islands.
NCL's Pride of America has several pools and spa tubs onboard. Deck 11 is home to the twin South Beach Pools and four spa tubs. Deck 12 has the Oasis Pool which is smaller and more relaxed. Pride of America's Santa Fe Fitness Center is located on Deck 12. You can exercise on elliptical trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes. There are also weight training machines and free-weights available. They also offer a number of classes.
