 Disney Dream entered service in January, 2011. Disney Dream is 1115 feet long, has 14 passenger decks and can accommodate 4000 passengers who are cared for by almost 1500 crew members. Disney Dream is decorated in an Art Deco style with artwork, murals and statues of Disney's famous characters.

 Disney Cruise Line was founded in 1995 by its parent The Walt Disney Company. The fleet consists of the Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Fantasy. As the name suggests, Disney Cruise Line is geared towards parents with children. Disney Cruise Line has earned a reputation for quality and much like its theme parks; they have perfected the art of customer service. Though there are less expensive cruise options for families, you will have difficulty finding a better choice than Disney Cruise Line.

 Disney Dream offers 3, 4 and 5-Night Bahamian Cruises departing from Port Canaveral, Florida. Disney Dream stops at exotic ports, including Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Lines' private island in the Bahamas. Disney Dream's 5-Night Bahamas Cruise spends two non-consecutive days at Castaway Cay.

When selecting a stateroom on Disney Dream, make sure you know which public areas are near, above and below your accommodation.  Disney Cruise Line allows guests who are legal drinking age to bring alcohol onboard Disney Dream. Passengers must abide by the following regulations: any bottles must be brought onboard in carry-on luggage (carry-on luggage must not exceed 22" wide x 14" high x 9" deep).
If you decide to bring your own wine or champagne to dinner on Disney Dream, there is a corkage fee of $20.00/ bottle.

There are also a number of adult-only bars on Disney Dream, where parents can enjoy time together in the evening.  Disney Dream's pools are well thought-out and designed. There are spaces for all ages, ensuring that everyone in the family has a chance to relax and enjoy time in the sun. Mickey's Pool for children is located mid-ship on Deck 11 along with Donald's Pool for families. At the front of Deck 11 on Disney Dream, adults can enjoy the Quiet Cove Pool and its connecting bar.
Kids will also enjoy the new Disney Dream AquaDuck, a water slide on Deck 12 that winds over 4 decks and Nemo's Reef, a play area with splash pads and water jets.

 Disney Dream has an excellent gym and fitness center located on Deck 11. The gym on Disney Dream is open for passengers 18 years of age and older, ensuring parents can get in a good workout while onboard. Disney Dream has elliptical trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes. There are also weight training machines and free-weights. Disney Dream offers a number of classes, including Pilates, Yoga and Aerobics.
Disney Dream also has personal trainers that can guide you through a workout for $75 an hour, which is a fair price for one-on-one instruction.

 Disney Dream's Senses Spa and Salon is located on Decks 11 & 12. Disney Dream has 17 private treatment rooms and 2 Luxury Villas. They offer a wide variety of spa & wellness treatments, including massages, facials and aromatherapy. Senses Spa and Salon is open for passengers 18 years of ago and older.
For Teens, there is a separate spa called Chill located within Senses. If you are planning a Disney Dream cruise, write a review when you get back and tell us about Senses Spa & Salon.
