There were definitely more older generations, families and couples on the cruise as compared to young people, but it was still fun. There is plenty of stuff to do and I would recommend taking full advantage of all the dance/musical performances, comedy shows and other entertainment. Drinks are expensive but it was really easy for us to sneak on our own liquor.
